Job Description :
Overview
The Packer Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently pack parts for customer orders in preparation for shipping.
Essential Functions

Checks product on totes for accuracy, ensuring all parts designated for that specific tote are present
Utilizes Blue Light procedure for missing or incorrect product
Knows rules involved when packing ORMD and hazardous materials including when to affix identity labels or placards
Executes all steps involved in packing product: selects appropriate box size; inserts product; packing slip, and master invoice; affixes shipping label and/or placards; and places carton on shipping conveyor.
Maintains orderly housekeeping of assigned area
Adheres to all company safety rules and regulations.
Other tasks as assigned and/or needed

Non-essential functions

Cover other positions as needed

Required Qualifications and Education

1 year experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to work well in a team
Good mathematics skills
Good organizational skills
Good time management skills

Must be able to move about inside the warehouse
Must be able to communicate verbally and written
Must be able to read from a screen
Must be able to ascend/descend ladders and stairs
Must be able to remain stationary for 7 hours a day
