Job Description
Shift: 1
7 am to 3:30 pm + OT
Salary: $18.50 per hour
Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with Forklift and using the “loading plan” and secure the load when trailer is complete.
Move out going products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
Obtain work schedule from supervisor, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
Perform daily safety check of the assigned lift truck in accordance with company policy.
Manage rotation of raw and work-in-process (WIP) inventory.
At the end of shift clean and secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
Transport finished goods from production lines to warehouse storage or staging area with a forklift.
Inspect empty trailers at the loading dock to insure they are clean and clear before loading and take appropriate action as needed.
Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles.
Inspect and stack empty pallets, remove broken or damaged pallets and clean trailers as required.
Remove scrap from warehouse areas, clean and maintain lift and change propane as needed.
Conduct daily cycle counts.

Qualifications
Able to work safely and set an example of safe working habits for his/her coworkers
Ability to understand and perform the various tasks to standards established for the department
Ability to meet the physical requirements; lifting 50llbs, climbing ladders and stairs, standing for prolonged periods
Knowledge of basic mathematical skills
Work experience specific to the department preferred
Must have a good employment record
Must be able to understand and follow all written SSOP’s
Must be able to understand MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)
Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
