Job Description :
Warehouse Department Manager – Bulk

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm.

This role is responsible for front-line management of warehouse activities, process improvements, and overall department performance. Responsibilities also include managing a team of 15-20 hourly associates on our Bulk Order Fill team, allocating workloads, and coaching team members. This position will work closely with Senior Operations leadership to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Major Responsibilities:

Supervises and coordinates Bulk Order Fill activities. Provides regular coaching, counseling, and communication to associates.
Maintains a clean and safe environment while being compliant with OSHA and Company Safety Guidelines.
Establishes goals, defines and plans projects to ensure operational strategies are executed.
Achieves performance goals through the performance management process.
Interacts with other departments frequently to resolve operational issues.
Captures and analyzes data on current processes to develop plans in order to meet business needs.
Manages people, processes, budgets, performance management, compliance activities, and associate development as required by the job.
Understands and demonstrates Essendant’s Core Values.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Intermediate computer skills.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum five years of job related experience required.
