Job Description
Pramira is currently seeking a Construction Manager to lead our in-house fiber underground construction crews in the high desert area (Palmdale).
JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide on-site management of field related activities on construction project site
Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, within budget, and schedule
Provide OJT training for employees working under your direction on construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling and material control
Manage QC program to ensure quality work in the field
Provide technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment as required
Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate “as-built maps” for areas built
Ensure all personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work polices
Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working
Assume responsibility for productive of jobs, efficient use of materials, equipment, and contractual performance of the project

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of fiber underground construction management experience
Experience with trenching, boring, cable installation, aerial construction, and fiber splicing projects
Excellent communication skills and supervisory skills with field construction personnel

Strong project management skills
