Job Description :
Essential Job Functions

Responsible for assisting social workers, nurses and staff within facilities with Transportation needs
Coordinate with dispatch and Social workers to ensure prompt efficient service.
Review and/or secure paperwork as needed
Process requests from the PSAP to Facility Units and Social Workers
Ensure that adequate record keeping and filing is properly maintained
Have a clear understanding of policies and procedures
Communicate transportation plan effectively to patients, family members facility personnel and PSAP
Works Independently to Provide Excellent Customer Service

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Computer and Word Processing Skills
Minimum one (1) year of previous customer service experience
Maintain patient confidentially in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
EMT Certification preferred but not required
