Position: Technical Support Specialist (Remote)
Location: Remote (training will be in Central Time Zone)
Salary: $40-50k

Avenica is currently recruiting for a Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional interested in gaining experience in client relations, a technical/help desk role, and using mortgage industry software. Great opportunities for professional development and career growth. No experience required.

Responsibilities of the Technical Support Specialist:

Serving as the main point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, chat and email
Documenting customer requests in the Company’s web-based ticket system, solving tier 1 and 2 tickets
Projecting a favorable image of the Company to customers
Providing a friendly, professional and efficient resolution to customer inquiries
Gaining feedback from customers and making suggestions to improve inquiry retrieval and documentation processes
Asking customers pertinent questions in order to transfer them to the right technician in a timely manner
All other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Technical Support Specialist:

Associates degree preferred
Prior Administrative experience in professional setting
2+ years in a customer service and/or help desk role focused on end-user support for software systems and/or hardware devices
High computer proficiency and a passion for software
