Supervisor
Manages, monitors and directs the service processes to ensure shop efficiencies that promote quality customer satisfaction. Takes customer requests seriously, respects the customer’s property, organizes work flow to meet and exceed customer expectations, and arranges work to accomplish departmental objectives by completing repair orders timely and accurately. Plans, staffs and evaluates departmental priorities to ensure that technicians work together cohesively and are accountable for assigned tasks. Maintains schedule to aid in timely completion of work installations and service work. Promotes a safe work environment and complies with regulatory requirements and reporting processes.
Job Purpose
Delivers exceptional service by focusing on quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving customer service issues; identifying trends; recommending systems and improvements.
Assigns parts and labor costs correctly for customer invoicing and warranty processes.
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, maintaining a safe, secure, and engaged work environment, developing personal growth opportunities.
Develops staff by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and instructing employees; developing, coordinating, and administering policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operational information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action, defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Tasks
Demonstrates ability to build and lead a well- trained team
Provides excellent customer service
Utilizes critical thinking skills, problems solving abilities, and exercises good judgment when completing tasks in an efficient, correct, and productive manner.
Demonstrates technical knowledge of customer equipment to prioritize issues and to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
Previous technician experience a plus.
Coordinates resources to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Intermediate computer and data entry skill for Window’s based software programs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook and Word helpful.
Active listening skills, oral/written comprehension and commitment to ensure quality service.
Knowledge of geography to identify closest dealerships.
Attendance and punctuality are essential job functions. Employees must arrive to work prior to the scheduled shift start time, while not taking unscheduled and unauthorized absences as determined by company and departmental guidelines.

Years of Experience: 5-10 Prefer an Associates Degree
