Job Description :
A busy pub, with a large beer garden right in the middle of the popular Henderson Ave district. Known for good food, good cocktails, and busy late nights.
We are looking for friendly door guys! Not violent bouncers.

We do a lot of volume, but with a casual approach. Looking for door guys that can meet the atmosphere and vibe for a friendly, fun bar. Shifts are generally Thursday-Saturday nights, with exceptions for special events and holidays.

Our approach to the following duties and qualifications will be trained:

Job Duties

Greets customers with a hello, and goodbye.

Inspects the identification of patrons to prevent underage individuals from entering, monitors entrances and exits and ensures that individuals who have been barred do not get into the establishment.

Inspect various sections of the establishment, from the bathrooms to the bar itself, to ensure safety.

Patrols the bar from time to time to look for any threats to the bar’s security, identifies rowdy patrons and provide support to the managers with any issue.

Following the managers’ lead, helps resolve conflicts and restrains anyone who gets into a fight, takes care of patrons’ welfare.

Skills and Qualifications

Comfortable talking to people, with a friendly approach.

Able to work long hours, specifically at night

Prepared for the occasional physical confrontation, so a door guy is required to be physically fit.

As the establishment’s first point of contact with patrons, Security should be presentable and courteous.

The security guard is also expected to be always mentally alert to quickly spot any disturbance on the premises.
