Sales Effectiveness ManagerJob Description

Will serve as the SME for Salesforce. Will provide guidance and use case development for our CRM activities and usage in Salesforce. Have a deep understanding of Salesforce customizations including configuration, CRM fields and objects, workflows, forms/layouts, and business rules. Will provide expertise with the set-up, configuration, and maintenance within SFDC. Ensures that future enhancements meet the needs of the sales team
Identify, recommend, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Sales Effectiveness team in support of sales goals
Champions the path in automation to make work efficient and increase sales productivity
Manages the implementation and use of technical tools and platforms, often in collaboration with cross functional teams, to make sales more efficient
Expertise also linked closely to the applications that are used to ensure the business and IT understand impacts of changes and are supported with appropriate scope, timely improvements and troubleshooting as needed
Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
Develop standard processes consistently to drive efficiency and serve both internal and external customers
Keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
Resolves issues quickly and collaboratively.
Identify gaps in processes that impact productivity for Sales staff
Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills. Seeks, accepts, and responds to feedback
Ability to work effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.

About the roleThe Sales Effectiveness Manager will be a key leader in driving the growth and productivity of our Sales Effectiveness team. You have proven your ability to effectively manage existing systems and take a lead role in the deployment and evolution of Salesforce. The role requires strong-cross functional partnerships to address key business questions to optimize our sales performance. This role must provide ongoing support, training, and development of the team members by reviewing all their work for accuracy and consistency, while practicing proactive management style and providing positive feedback.
What we’re looking forEssential:

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent experience preferred
Experience working in reporting tools, data warehouse and CRM systems; preferably Salesforce.com, developing and managing incentive compensation programs, sales reports & analytics, and business systems
Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint; Working knowledge and experience with SAP, CRMs (Salesforce.com preferred), data visualization software, and other database concepts highly preferred
Good time management skills, highly organized, and able to multi-task and prioritize own workloads
Must be analytical, collaborative, have excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize projects

Hands-on experience working with SAP Business Objects, and ideally data visualization tools such as Power BI

Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
Experience of working cross-functionally and collaborating effectively with colleagues to get things done
Excellent interpersonal and strong written/verbal communication skills
Understanding of the key financial & commercial metrics and drivers within a business and why these are important
Self-starter with a passion for continued learning and development
Strong written/verbal communication skills
High attention to detail

Desirable:

Experience writing complex SQL queries
2 years of distribution or supply chain experience
AS9120, product knowledge
Negotiation skills
Experience working with other countries/cultures
Knowledge of web analytics tools: e.g. Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
Experience with Domo, Tableau, or a similar tool is a plus
