Join our team and earn $19.50 per hour! Pitney Bowes is now hiring for a Full Time Direct Hire Material Handler Robotics Associate in our Irving, TX facility.
Shift differential: An additional $1.50 per hour for working 2nd shift
You Are:
An individual who enjoys fast paced, physical production environment while developing new skills in the logistics industry. You are a hard-working and vital contributor to our company’s success in meeting productivity standards and customer satisfaction ratings.
You will:
Sort incoming packages and prepare for delivery by managing the AmbiSort robotic system by keeping the machines queued and swapping full containers etc as well as resolving issues
Stack packages on feed conveyor (where needed) to ensure continual flow
Induct packages into the system and identify any special handling needed
Perform Lead functions for a team of associates as assigned
Perform all additional duties as required.
Your background:
As a Material Handler Robotics Associate, you have:
The ability to work 2nd Shift-Sun-Thur(4pm -12:30am) or Tue-Sat(4pm-12:30am)
The ability to be dependable and reliable.
The ability to read user interfaces and monitor notifications
Experience with computers and able to resolve minor issues
A basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of your native language.
The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.
Must have current work experience with Pitney Bowes as a Material Handler Robotics Associate
Preferred:
Prior parcel, fulfillment, warehouse or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of small package and conveyor systems.
Working knowledge of small package, conveyor systems and robotics
Physical demands and abilities:
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.
The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
