Job Description :
Position Summary: Chesmar Homes is a private Texas homebuilder with offices in Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. We are growing and are currently seeking Residential CAD Specialist to take our company to the next level. This position is responsible for generating accurate CAD construction documents under strict guidelines, review plans for errors/omissions, and find solutions. Ability to shift priorities and adapt to constant changing deadlines.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Generate accurate Address-Specific plans and Address-Specific plot plans
Make necessary plan revisions to existing master plans.
Field validates plan errors and enter necessary revisions.
Apply custom plan changes for address-specific plans as necessary.
Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Job knowledge and skills:

Minimum of High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Detail oriented, strong sense of urgency.
Able to perform confidently in fast-paced work environment.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
Experience in residential drafting required, prefer production home builder

Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum of High School Diploma, some college preferred.
Training in AutoCAD
