Job Description :
UTILIZATION REVIEW NURSE JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the review and evaluation of clinical information and documentation
Reviews documentation and interprets data obtained from clinical records/systems to apply appropriate clinical criteria and policies in line with regulatory and accreditation requirements for member and/or provider issues
Independently coordinates the clinical resolution with internal/external clinician support as required
May be required to contact the providers of record vendors or internal Aetna departments to obtain additional information.
Accurately applies review requirements to assure case is reviewed by a practitioner with clinical expertise for the issue at hand.
Condenses complex information into a clear and precise clinical picture while working independently

UTILIZATION REVIEW NURSE HIGHLIGHTS:

Work schedule: MUST be available to work 5 days a week, Mon-Fri, 8a-5p
Full benefits are offered after 90 days: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, & Short-term Disability as well as 401k after 1 year of employment: With employer match and profit sharing!
The pay for this position is $36.20 per hour; paid weekly

UTILIZATION REVIEW NURSE QUALIFICATIONS:

COVID vaccination required
2-3 years of clinical experience required
Must have experience in case management
Managed care/utilization review experience preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health, social services or human services
Bachelor’s degree in social services, human services, or behavioral health
