*Summary/Objective*

*The Proposal Manager will be responsible for managing the complete RFP response process from identifying RFPs to proposal writing and submission. The Proposal Manager will develop relationships with key stakeholders across multiple departments within Insight LPR to assist in creating proposal responses.

*Essential Functions*

Screen bidding platforms daily to find bidding opportunities
Own the end-to-end proposal management process, supporting our Sales leadership in planning, producing and delivering competitive proposals.
Manage RFPs, RFIs and RFQs across a variety of products in a timely and efficient manner through smart assessment, prioritization and resource coordination
Use your deep understanding of Insight LPR’s product offering to effectively conduct initial RFP analysis, qualify opportunities (RFP-based or proactive) and write competitive proposal responses based on the client’s objectives
Partner with Insight LPR internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to continuously improve Insight LPR’s proposal quality and proposal-related processes
Prepare letters, compliance matrices, and other customer-facing response documents by proposal requirements.
Write technical and non-technical text and edit copy from other contributors so that it is persuasive and aligns with overall proposal win themes and messaging
Maintain proposal milestones schedule, including review dates, kickoff meetings, and due dates.
Build, manage and update a content library with clear, compelling and benefits-driven proposal assets and messaging
Drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with customers

*Competencies*

Strong technical and business writing skills, and exceptional attention to detail
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and compelling language
Experience in B2B sales required
Excellent stakeholder manager, skilled at gaining commitment and tracking progress in a collaborative and result-driven manner
Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with good organizational skills and a high capacity to execute
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Works well in a team environment
Thrives in a “start-up” phase of a business
Strong work ethic

*Education and Experience*

3+ years of proposal management experience with deal sizes of $1M and above
Preferred experiences with technology and data sales
Experience with License Plate Recognition (LPR) is a plus but not required
Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills

*Position Type / Location*This is a full-time, exempt and salaried position. Based in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX with a hybrid, work-from-home model. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
*Physical Requirements*This position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
