If so, consider being the Project and Change Manager. for the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Join our friendly, collaborative, and hardworking Analytics, Strategy, Systems, Evaluation and Technology (ASSET) team, reporting to the Director of Programs-ASSET.
Who We Are: The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank is comprised of a dedicated team of approximately 240 staff working collaboratively to provide over a million meals to over 50,000 households every week in San Francisco and Marin.

What You Would Be Accountable For:
The Project and Change Manager will be responsible for the following key pieces of work:

Planning and Organizing – Identifies varied resources needed (e.g., different types of expenditures; different skill mixes). Produces realistic and achievable work plans. Develops contingency plans to handle potential obstacles. Breaks activities into smaller components to facilitate completion. Renegotiates commitments or deadlines as circumstances dictate, ensuring “no surprises” at the expected completion. Evaluates the extent to which objectives have been achieved.
Team Leadership – Seeks resources that will enhance the team’s productivity. Cultivates a feeling of energy, excitement and optimism in the team.
Change Management – Manages all aspects of medium to large scale change management initiatives. Trains managers in sponsoring and driving change across the division. Explores different teams’ reasons behind resistance to change.
Fostering Communication – Tailors communication (e.g., content, style and medium) to diverse audiences. Reads cues from diverse listeners to assess when and how to change planned communication approach to effectively deliver message. Communicates with all organizational levels. Understands others’ complex or underlying needs, motivations, emotions or concerns, communicating effectively despite the sensitivity of the situation.

What You Would Be Doing Right Now:

Identifying, structuring and managing multiple large scale projects in accordance with department work plan and organizational strategic intentions.
Coach and train team members on project and change management skills to help them achieve their goals.
Creating change management plans and assisting with implementation and championing change.
Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
Communicating with key stakeholders to keep the project aligned with strategic intentions.

What Else You Should Know:
PREFERRED: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent, Change Management certification (Prosci, CCMP, CMS, CPCM), Proficient in project management software solutions, Proficient in MS Office including advanced excel skills. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. Food Bank or non-profit experience a plus.

POSITION COVERED BY OPEIU LOCAL 29 BARGAINING UNIT.
SALARY The position is Full Time. The starting salary for this position ranges from $63,731.50 to $73,721.93, with exact salary depending on experience.
