As one of the nations largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, signs, electrical construction, and energy management solutions we are expanding our staff and seeking a Prefab Production Manager to join the FSG Propel Prefab LLC Team in San Antonio, Texas.
Role Description:
The Production Manager will supervise skilled employees and operations in one or more production functions, to reach the company goals. Will assign and maintain production schedules, plan production work, assigns work, and train employees. Will also ensures product quality standards are maintained, discipline individuals as needed and conduct performance reviews and decisions. Primary Responsibilities:
Review contract documents for each project to become familiar with scope, specifications, and schedule.
Develop Prefab Plan for each project. Coordinate closely with each division project team to identify the extent of prefabrication, pre-cutting, building, bundling, and delivery methods of materials to the jobsite.
Collaborate with Prefab/OpCo CAD personnel to produce accurate and effective shop drawings that add value to the prefabrication and installation processes.
Attend coordination meetings with project teams when necessary to communicate prefabrication process, schedule etc.
Manage prefabrication processes and personnel to ensure efficient operations that meet or exceed production goals and quality expectations.
Develop accurate materials list for each project and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely release of materials to the jobsite.
Develop KPIs and continuously evaluate effectiveness of the prefab operations to identify ways to improve the end product and value to installation activities.
Qualifications:
Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Commercial Electrical Construction Supervisory role.
Must have a solid understanding and knowledge of National Electric Code.
