Meals on Wheels Orange County is the largest nonprofit provider of nutrition and supportive services for at-risk older adults. It is committed to erasing hunger and loneliness for at-risk older adults through nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks, and keeping families together through day services. Through its critical services, the organization delivers nearly 2 million meals to 20,000 at-risk older adults each year throughout Central and North Orange County. Meals on Wheels Orange County is a dba of Community SeniorServ, Inc.
Hours: Mon-Fri, 5:00 am – 1:30 pmPay Range: Rate varies depending on experienceLocation: Anaheim, CaJOB SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant II provides support for the Food Services and Sales Department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for printing and ensuring that customer satisfaction surveys are distributed to Home Delivered Meals clients. Compiles and publishes survey results.
Accountable for distributing, collecting and reporting findings for all Congregate Site surveys.
Distributes temperature sheets to Congregate Sites and Drivers. Maintains files for temperature sheets.
Responsible for formatting, publishing and distributing menus, nutrition education, in service training materials and annual nutrition education survey to Congregate and Commercial sites.
Ensures menus for Home Delivered Meals are sent to tray line for distribution.
Types reports, business correspondence, statistical and financial data. Maintains office correspondence.
Coordinates and distributes nutrition education packets, in-service classes for Site Managers and Registered Dietitian.
Provides support to Sr. Director, Food Operations and Sales with invoicing.
Inputs menu items into Computrition. Inputs data required to maintain accurate accountability of food items in Computrition.
Prepares billing for Commercial programs.
Schedules in-service for kitchen staff and drivers.
Gathers data and generates reports.
Performs other duties and/or office support relevant to the successful operation of the Food Services and Sales department.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.


High School Diploma and 5+ years administrative support/customer service experience.
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills a must.
Proficient in the use of Compnutrition.
Ability to work independently and well organized.
Must have a valid CA Driver’s License.
