Job Title: Planner/Scheduler – Planning Engineer
Schedule: 9/80
Location: Houston, Texas
Danos Expectations:
The Planner/Scheduler will demonstrate significant experience with formal Oil and Gas Planning and Scheduling systems, including the principles, practices, or tools for scheduling well, facility, infrastructure and associated functional support activities, along with the ability to analyze schedules to assure accuracy and must have knowledge of baselining, specialized reporting, resource loading and leveling.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert skill with industry leading Planning and Scheduling software implementation using Primavera 6.
Analyze variance impacts to cost, schedule, critical path and other pertinent information and data pertaining to Cost Account Managers
Create and maintain Reduction & Retrieval cost schedules, monthly Accrual, fiscal year carryover and EAC reporting using Primavera P6
Prepare, track and status integrated project schedules
Audit baseline and current integrated files for cost performance reporting
Provide daily statuses to Management, Cost Account Managers and Project Managers so to mitigate potential issues, facilitate planning and analysis and assist with report production and presentation
Meet deadlines efficiently and thoroughly while navigating, compiling and extracting data while using Primavera P6 and other integrated systems

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management , Finance or Business related degree preferred
5+ years of Oil and Gas formal Planning and Scheduling experience, fostering principles, practices and tools for scheduling well, facility, infrastructure and associated functional support activities.
Demonstrated expert skill with industry leading Planning and Scheduling software implementation utilizing Primavera 6 highly desired
Expert user with spreadsheets and computing skills a must
Ability to analyze schedules to assure accuracy and must have knowledge of baselining, detailed reporting, resource loading and leveling.AACE International certification in Planning and Scheduling or certified CE with Primavera Advanced training using P6, Rev. 16.2 Advanced Project Management highly desired but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $115.00 per hour
