Job Description :
United Radiology Partners provides radiology support services (x-ray and ultrasound) in the Fresno area. We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator/Billing Rep to support our ultrasound department in downtown Fresno. The ideal candidate has experience in the radiology field, basic knowledge of medical billing and insurance verification and eligibility, and management skills. This position will have the opportunity to take on a leadership role in an expanding organization.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Managing modality schedules
Answering phones and scheduling patients
Managing patient medical records
Patient intake
Insurance verifications/Authorizations

Qualifications:

Preferred: 1 Year of radiology or healthcare scheduling job experience
Preferred: Medical billing and coding knowledge
Bilingual: English and Spanish
Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office/RIS/ PACS)
Professional telephone skills and experience with a multi-line phone system
Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Applicant must be familiar with HIPPA laws – ensures all personal health information is kept confidential i.e., (sensitive papers, charts, and reports are not in view of the public).
Communicates professionally and clearly to management, technologists, and radiologists.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $25.00 per hour
