Job Description :
We are seeking an enthusiastic kitchen assistant for a private preschool in North Austin. As a cook at Abacus, you will be responsible for preparing and distributing food to all children at the school and performing all related work as required.
DUTIES:

Prepares nutritious meals and snacks for enrolled children: prepares substitute items for children on restricted diets.
Distributes food to classrooms.
Practices safe food handling techniques in food preparation and storage..
Maintains a safe and sanitary kitchen, pantry and storage areas.
Cleans all dishes and organizes for next day.
Attends all workshops as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

A high school degree or equivalent
Experience in production cooking
Organized and punctual
Ability to work cooperatively with staff

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
