Job Description :
Job Summary: Works to prepare and paint parts for sub-assemblies and/or completed units on HVAC products. Must be able to complete duties in a safe and timely manner in accordance with quality standards and engineering specifications. Coordinates the work of co-workers when necessary and ensures that their work meets all production standards and schedules. Trains new employees. Uses computer to verify schedules and check inventory availability. Responsible for proper mixing, cleaning, disposal, and maintenance of paint, paint equipment, paint materials, and related items and debris.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

Adhere to all directions from senior painter/supervisor

Apply cleaning solution and wipe off with lint free cloth

Apply primer and paint to meet engineering specifications

Communicate with production areas warranty area

Complete hazardous waste training

Complete job assignments on time so as not to slow production

Complete respirator certification and fit test

Complete successfully paint training
Additional task, as assigned by leadership

Education Requirements:

A minimum of 6 months industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.

Essential Mental Functions:

Activate machines and observes operations to detect misalignment or machine malfunctions.
Check quality of part to ensure it meets engineering standards.
Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications, visually and/or using tools.

Essential Physical Functions:

Basic Mechanical attuned.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand for up to 95 per cent of the shift.
Work in conditions below 32 degrees or above 90 degrees on occasion.
