T.NETWORK is looking for a highly motivated and driven Export Operations Specialist to join our US Team to process export shipments while coordinating with our internal customer service group. This team-oriented detailed individual will be responsible for achieving high accuracy through our forwarding systems to ensure high productivity and operational excellence.

Job Overview
The Export Operations Specialist is responsible for managing day to day operations, communications and processes related to air and ocean shipments, customs brokerage, and domestic cargo.

Responsibilities and Duties

Take booking requests, ensure bookings are made at current and accurate rates, consolidate and route shipments based on standard operating procedures.
Close bills of lading
Provide Warehouse with loading docs
Perform Export Clearance
Monitor and manage shipments until completion. Keep customers appraised to the export details of transactions.
Communicate with carriers, origin and or destination locations regarding shipment status, special handling and delivery processes.
Communicate with customer service group for any requirements or exceptions found in freight documents or physical cargo receipt
Responsible for timely update of milestones
Build relationships with all customers, overseas agents and service providers.
Assists the day-to-day operations of the export department to ensure that customer requirements are met
Ensure accuracy and completeness of export documentation
Review and verify documentation and obtain any missing documentation from the customer.
Assists with ensuring that payable and receivable documents are completed accurately and forwarded within time constraints
Trace shipment through transit points up to final destination and advice customer service as needed
Review standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with other government agencies.
Ensures that highest level of data quality and integrity by processing shipment accurately
Report anomalies in operations and new customer requirements to management for decisions on additional service requirements
Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

2-3 years of proven industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Organized and detail oriented.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in both air and ocean import.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CargoWise (CW1) system software strongly preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools.
