Job Description :
OKTEX Utility Inc. is currently seeking an office administrative assistant and field project managers. This would be a great opportunity for anyone looking to start with a company to apply their expertise, and add to their scope of skills.
The office administrative assistant will be assisting with office duties such as sorting and responding to day to day emails. Gathering information regarding each project we are assigned from our clients. Create reminders and program calendar events to keep track of each and every project we get. Administrative assistant will also be assisting in working with field project managers to receive information regarding each project and assist in creating invoices for in house crews and contractors. Will also assist with day to day communication with clients and getting approvals on any changes that may arise at each project we are assigned.

Previous experience in office setting
Strong computer skills
Microsoft Excel proficient
Outlook Profiecient
Adobe Acrobat Proficient
Great organizational skills

Field Project Manager
Roles of the field project manager will be to oversee work conducted by in house crews and sub-contractors. Keep track of deadlines and have constant communication with fellow supervisors and client’s work coordinators. Make sure each project turned in is completed and quality is up to clients specifications by reading scope of work and prints in detail. Conduct site visits, make sure to account for any and all changes required to complete each project safely and in a timely manner. Program pre-construction meetings, inspections, and final walkthroughs with corresponding parties, such as city inspectors, TXDOT inspectors, and clients. Lead by example making sure to always have PPE, locates, and permits on hand.

Previous field management experience
Expierence with utility work (communication a plus)
Ability to read work prints and ROW/TCP permits
Good communication, time management, and problem solving skiils.
Strong computer skills ( Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook a plus)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 – $21.00 per hour
