Austin Health Partners’s Cedar Park Pediatric & Family Medicine care center is looking for an experienced Front Desk Supervisor to manage teams in two locations. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience managing a front office staff of at least 5 employees. Our front desk staff promote collaboration, conversation and teamwork while providing high quality administrative support and comfort to our patients. They strive to maintain an atmosphere where our patients and families feel welcomed and supported!
Pay range $26.00 – $28.00 commensurate with experience.

WHO WE ARE
Austin Health Partners is an independently-owned, physician-led Pediatric and Family Medicine Supergroup consisting of multiple care centers in Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville and Leander. This position is located at the Central Business Office, and a flex schedule is an option.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily administrative and operational tasks such as creating daily work schedules, assisting patients and or employees directly if a problem arises.
Ability to carry out all essential responsibilities of Front Desk Specialist 1,2 and leads
Help train new employees and provide regular feedback.
Optimizing providers schedules for production, review schedules for accuracy, confirm/ follow up on missed appointments.
Welcome patients and visitors to the office by greeting in person and on the telephone; answers inquiries or refers questions to the appropriate staff member
Provide an exceptional customer care experience to our patients and their families.
Ethical conduct, confidentiality, and collaboration with the healthcare team are expected and considered essential elements of this position.
Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time and most effective utilization of examining and treatment rooms
Responsible for obtaining/verifying patient demographics and verifying insurance information at each visit
Maintain knowledge of all health forms required for each visit and verification of storage in EMR
Can maintain physical demands and work environment as listed below

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of EMR software
Minimum of 3 years managing a staff of at least 5
Nice to Have
Associate or Bachelor’s degree
Front staff management experience in a medical office
Experience with Athena and Phreesia
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Works near others, usually within a few feet. May work in a noisy or distracting environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Certain vaccinations are required of all clinic staff.
COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS
Staff is required to wear a surgical mask at all times. Patients are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
The core hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., but can vary depending on business needs. This position will require occasional weekend and evening hours.
