Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced medical billing specialist. This is a full time position with competitive salary and excellent benefits. Prefer a familiarity with pediatric or family practice billing. Must be comfortable working with electronic medical records. Duties include:

Assign appropriate CPT and ICD 10 codes
Balance daily charges, adjustments, and payments
Prepare account statements
Investigate and re-submit denials from insurance companies
Respond to questions regarding patient account balances in a professional manner
Ensure payments are received in a timely manner

Requirements: High school diplomaMedical billing / coding certificate or commensurate experienceExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionPreference given to candidates with: Previous pediatric experienceThose with experience working with office practicum
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
