As a Materials Management Coordinator, you will have a direct impact on critical business-related activities to help AWC and its management team be successful. You will be responsible for assisting our Purchasing and Operations teams and will report to the Senior Materials Manager. You’ll be an integral part of our NSSC team with business impact from West Texas, The Gulf Coast, and Southeast divisions
Success is measured by successfully completing assignments defined by the Senior Materials Manager. Interaction across several business units within AWC will allow the correct candidate to rapidly grow their skills, expertise, and career development. Empowerment in decision-making with proper judgment will be an integral part of the job.

Proactive Expedite and Open Order Report – NSSC BR lines
Create and process customer returns
Handle exceptions, substitutions, allocations, and erroneous shipments from our partners
Proactively resolve discrepancies with pricing and delivery both inbound and outbound
Gain specialized technical knowledge about our products and processes
You will be part of a growing business with diverse technology offerings which include process automation systems, field instrumentation, instrument/mechanical products, control/automated valves, overpressure protection solutions with both shop and field service operations.
You will bring with you:
Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or High School Diploma with two (2) years related experience.
Capable to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Excellent business acumen and ability to prioritize and make sound judgment
Observe and maintain confidentiality as necessary
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint proficiency
Strong work ethic and ownership mentality
Teamwork mentality and positive attitude
