Our vision is to deliver simple and scalable solutions —until everyone has a home.Position SummaryHousing Connector is looking for a Market Operations Director to join us as we launch in Dallas Texas!The Market Operations Director in Dallas plays a critical role in the expansion of Housing Connector and increasing housing security for individuals in the Dallas community. As an entrepreneurial leader you will be responsible for the ultimate success of the market, building productive relationships with local property managers, and partnering with stakeholders to drive impact.Building on the success of Housing Connector in Washington State, you will adapt best practices to the local context, be a resource for the housing community, and help write the playbook for future expansion into other markets. This role will provide you with the opportunity for end- to-end ownership of operations and to demonstrate the scalability of Housing Connector.Our ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and loves to build impactful programs (organizations/products) and relationships from scratch. A strong aptitude for business-to-business sales, stakeholder management, and team building are a must. You have a bias for action and will utilize your experience in program leadership, your excellent communication skills, and strategic insights on the Dallas market to ensure high quality results. Grow the presence of Housing Connector in the Dallas area by recruiting and onboarding new property partners, building awareness with nonprofit partners, and developing new funding opportunities with private and public institutions.
Build and manage strategic relationships with stakeholders across the Dallas market, focused primarily on building housing inventory in the Housing Connector marketplace, attracting private and public funding for future operations, and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders.
Responsible for setting and achieving vigorous growth goals in conjunction with the Dallas team and Executive Director.
Create an outstanding customer experience for property and community partners, resolving operational challenges and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop and execute a grassroots marketing campaign and tactics to increase the awareness ofHousing Connector across various stakeholders.
Adapt end-to-end operational infrastructure to meet local customer needs in conjunction with teams in Washington State.
Hire, manage and develop a high performing team.

Skills and Qualifications

Track record of success working in startups or launching programs, the initiative necessary to overcome complex problems, and ability to build and develop effective teams.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, setting and achieving clear
goals.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and stakeholders
simultaneously.
Willingness to take a proactive, hands-on approach to everything you do.
Curiosity and a growth mindset in the relentless pursuit of the optimal customer experience is
critical.
Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills, ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems.
Experience in real estate/property management, sales, and/or housing are desirable.
Established connections in the Dallas area.
Proven track record of delivering results.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 – $110,000 annually. Salary is determined based on internal and market equity, internal and market data/salary ranges, and the applicant’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are likely to hire at the beginning to midpoint of the salary range to allow future salary growth based on an employee’s performance, professional development, and increases in responsibilities and duties.
