Diversified CPC drivers safely deliver our High Purity products to our customers throughout Texas and the Southeastern United States. Drivers are responsible for keeping the equipment clean and in proper maintenance at all times
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely deliver our products to our customers.
Follow all Federal DOT Regulations
Monitors operation of the production facility and makes adjustments as necessary
Carries out scheduled deliveries to our customers and adheres to all company policies and procedures
Fills out logs and forms and makes other documentation as required
Ensures that emissions are kept to a minimum
Utilizes ELD for daily log management
Determines, by personal inspections in accordance with criteria specified by DOT that vehicles are in a safe operating condition before leaving company facility.
Operates a variety of makes, models and sizes of tractor/tank truck combinations and all, pumping and other mechanical devices related to transporting, loading, and unloading products
Loads and unloads rail cars and truck trailers as necessary
Performs necessary tests and inspections to process receipts and shipments
Keeps work area neat, clean, orderly, and safe
Performs minor maintenance procedures as required
Connects and disconnects rail cars and truck trailers as necessary
Relocates truck trailers as required
Reads instruments, gauges, level indicators, temperature indicators, etc., and logs same as necessary
Opens, closes, or adjusts valves to direct, redirect, stop or change flow, temperature, pressure, etc., of systems as needed
Makes necessary calculations and measurements to meet demand
Understands and follows plant operating procedures
Performs laboratory analysis of products: both received and shipped
And any other duties that may become necessary from time to time
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) with tank and Hazmat endorsement in your state of residence.
Employment Eligibility Verification
Inquiry to State Agencies Regarding Operator’s License (Check of Driving Record)
Medical Examination Form/Certification and Drug Screen
Minimum of six (6) months verifiable experience driving a minimum of five (5) axle diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination unit
Record of Driver’s Violations/Review
Copy of Driver’s License (CDL)
Is at least 21 years old
Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
Can, by reason of experience, training, or both, safely operate the type of motor vehicle he drives.
Can, by reason of experience, training, or both, determine whether the cargo he transports (including baggage in a passenger-carrying motor vehicle) has been properly located, distributed, and secured in or on the motor vehicle he drives.
Is familiar with methods and procedures for securing cargo in or on the motor vehicle he drives. Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and maintain balance
Ability to drive manual transmission equipped vehicle
Possess the LPG Driver card from Texas Railroad Commission
Possess TWIC card
Must exhibit professionalism in appearance, performance and be customer focused.
Basic P.C. skills required
Able to be certified odor panelist
Good eye/hand coordination
Average hearing and vision required
Excellent math and reading skills needed
Good communication skills needed
Good telephone communication skills needed
Ability to lift 50 pounds dead weight
Be available to work 7 days a week and holidays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years experience driving with LPG and/or Fuel tank trailers
Previous driving and/or operational experience with LPG Products
