Job Summary:
Responsible for following established policies and procedures in providing assistance to Loan Servicing area.
Provides secure, accurate, responsive, and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers at all times.
Primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills in order to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals.
Essential Job Functions:
Answer all internal and external loan servicing questions received in person, by phone, or email promptly and accurately.
Respond to written credit inquiries and VODs within four hours of receipt; quote payoffs within four hours; process AFT and ACH returned payment same business day; post customer loan payments received by wire, mail or inter-office same day; process line of credit draw requests within two hours of receipt; process interim construction draws within 2 business days; review daily reports and maintain necessary items.
Upload consumer, commercial and real estate loans from origination platform to core system daily; key or upload loan modifications and renewals; clear daily GL outages by the end of the day; post unit priced payments and fund new units.
File and maintain negotiable collateral, original notes, and other custodial documents, according to record retention requirements; scan all loan documentation; maintain retention and destruction of archived documents based on department guidelines; retrieve notes that have paid off loans within 10 business days or as necessary; prepare and update records of releases as stated in the procedures.
Organize and verify real estate documents for signatures and notary seal; prepare and send checks with vendor invoices and legal documents for county recordings within one business day of receipt.
Other Functions:
Other duties as requested by their supervisor or other management representatives of the bank.
Must comply with all bank policies and procedures that are job related and/or consistent with business necessity.
Job Requirements
Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Some college preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years banking experience, with 1-3 years training in lending practices preferred.
Advanced level computer skills in MS Word or Excel
Possess analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple task, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with customers and coworkers in a team effort
Good oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail, customer confidentiality and strong organization skills.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others.
General Physical Demands and Workplace Conditions:
Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push or pull or otherwise move objects within the immediate work station.
Must be able to walk, sit or stand frequently, up to 50% of the time.
Must be able to tolerate encounters with coworkers and customers under the following conditions:
Atmospheric pollutants or allergens, including but not limited to fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation;
Changes in indoor/outdoor temperatures encountered in travel between buildings and branches.
Other physical attributes required to successfully perform the essential functions above include finger agility, talking, and listening.
