Top notch mid-Wilshire civil trial firm seeks bright and ambitious graduate of a four-year college to train as a legal assistant. You should be interested in attending law school in the future. We are a small, fast-paced firm specializing in employment law, real estate and business litigation. Our cases often go to trial and garner media attention. We recently obtained a multi-million dollar verdict against a large, international, publicly-traded company. You will be trained to draft motions, discovery, briefs and meet-and-confer letters, summarize depositions; extensive client contact. Typing, filing, phones and general office. $26.00 per hour to start. Benefits: Parking provided; 401k and health insurance after probationary period. You must be detail-oriented, focused, reliable, a quick learner, hard-working and type 65+ wpm accurately; excellent spelling and grammar skills (English) essential. Good organizational skills. Four-year college degree; minimum GPA of 3.5 upon graduation. No prior law office experience needed. Great opportunity for those interested in attending law school in the future.
