Job Description :
Assist in creating client database.
Assist in drafting documents for clients, including wills, powers of attorney, accountings, operating agreements, corporate minutes, some pleadings, and other documents as required.
E-filing pleadings with the courts and e-filing deeds.
Scheduling appointments with clients.
Support the attorney in the firm and work with the other legal assistant in representing clients.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Attention to detail and accuracy, confidentiality, excellent proofreading skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset.
Ability to work independently.
Draft legal documents.
Interact with clients and be organized.
Have a professional demeanor and the ability to work well in a small office to assist others.
Legal experience is preferred.
Vision / Dental and after 1 yr 401k
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
Victoria, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
