Job Description :
Summary of Job Description: The Leasing Representative position negotiates LOIs, leases and leases renewals and performs related activities. This position reviews tenant credit, business plan and business financials. The Leasing Representative also builds a network with national/regional tenants and works with local brokers to determine market rent comps and tenant mix.

You’ll get a chance to:

Build a network with national/regional tenants and works with local brokers to determine the market rent comps and appropriate tenant mix.
Develop an understanding of land cost, construction cost and rent income.
Assist Leasing Manager with running pro-forma as basis for development recommendations and prepare presentation packages for Real Estate Site Acquisition Committee.
Negotiate LOI, leases and lease renewals and works with leasing attorney to resolve leasing conflicts.
Work closely with construction team to coordinate space turnover to tenants.
Review lease assignments and negotiates rent reductions and buy-outs.
Review tenant credit, business plan and business financials.
Work closely with property management team to monitor delinquent tenants and recommend plans of action.
Attend ICSC Conferences and other related real estate conferences and events.

Your background & experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Business or related field required
Minimum three years of real estate experience, preferably in the retail/hospitality environment
Successful completion of annual store training
If hired, successful completion of annual store training
If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine. Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.
