School Description:

Cheremoya Avenue Elementary is a small learning community in Hollywood dedicated to providing all students with an educational experience that supports both social-emotional development and academic learning. Cheremoya is committed to providing quality education by offering a rigorous curriculum in all core academic subject areas where each student has a clear sense of self and respect for diversity. Our teachers provide standards-based lessons using the California Content Standards and California Frameworks as prescribed by the California Department of Education and the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Commitment to using mastery-based teaching and grading approach with Schoology as the primary platform for video conferencing, communicating progress, and grades, and implementing personalized learning.
Available to take on leadership roles outside of the classroom through committees, and councils.

Salary: Teacher Preparation Salary Table C-Basis (see www.teachinla.com).

Minimum Requirements: All LAUSD minimum requirements must be met to be assigned at Cheremoya Ave Elementary. All candidates must be cleared and processed for eligibility by LAUSD Human Resources.
