The AppSense resource will provide expertise on the implementation and administration of persona management of physical and virtual desktops via Appsense. The candidate will be expected to assist and provide expertise in the following areas: the implementation and maintenance/troubleshooting of large-scale enterprise implementations of AppSense, Ivanti User Workspace Manager, Windows Server operating systems and Microsoft Group Policy.
Duties and Responsibilities

Create and manage AppSense configurations
Provide all Tier levels of remediation, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software and network related problems experienced by end users in a multi-site network
Ability to collaborate with senior engineers and program leads to ensure optimal operations of all systems, documentation, and inventory
Understand PKI in an Enterprise environment
Work and troubleshoot SSL/TLS

Requirements
Functional Experience/Skills:

Extensive experience in creating and managing AppSense Configurations for Environment Manager in support of development, testing, and production
Considerable knowledge of Ivanti User Workspace Manager (formerly AppSense Desktop Now) (UWM) for use with persona management for Physical and Virtual desktops
Considerable technical experience implementing, configuring, supporting, and maintaining Windows Server operating system.
Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, including but not limited to:

– Client-side preferences- Loop back processing- Item-level targeting- RSOP analysis

Considerable knowledge of Microsoft roaming profiles and user application data placement
Broad knowledge of client/server technologies and distributed computing hardware and basic understanding of systems management, application infrastructure, infrastructure consolidation and related operating system & supporting technologies and operational standards
Technical knowledge in Active Directory and core Microsoft technologies
Ability to analyze user personalization data and modify the data as needed to resolve user issues
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve reported Environment Manager incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document remediation in incident management system
Ability to assist in defining standards, guidelines, best practices, and metrics for Ivanti product deployment and performance
Ability to create documentation for site administrators and global service desk personnel to provide first call response

Required Experience/Skills:

Ability to create documentation for site administrators and global service desk personnel to provide first call response
Associate or Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience within the UWM technology
Minimum of 6 years of Windows Desktop OS administration, optimization, configuration and troubleshooting experience
Minimum of 6 year administering an environment with at least 1000 users configured for Ivanti (AppSense) User Workspace Manager (DesktopNow)
Minimum of 6 years experience in selecting, implementing, troubleshooting and supporting end-user technologies & services in environments over 1000 users
Security+ certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire
Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance level – TS/SCI – CI POLY
Experience with DNS, LDAP, DHCP, GPO and Active Directory technologies
Scripting experience with Microsoft PowerShell and VB Script a plus
Ivanti/AppSense certifications a plus

Salary: $26.00 – $29.00 per hour
