Job Description :
Midwest Dental Equipment & Supply has been in Wichita Falls, TX since 1988. We are the largest independently owned dental company in Texas. It is our goal to provide customers with the best products and services the dental market has to offer.
We have an immediate opening for a Human Resources Administrator. We are seeking a motivated, friendly and self-driven individual with a passion for HR. This individual will be the point of contact for employees with any HR or payroll related inquiries.
Job Duties:
· Demonstrate knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, laws and regulations
· Administer healthcare and 401k enrollments, changes and terminations
· Submit worker’s comp claims and respond to unemployment claims
· Enter and update employees into the payroll system (ADP)
· Develop positive employee relations
· Answer employee questions and requests
· Review and correct hourly time sheets
· Assist in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding
· Provide guidance on employee behavior and conflict resolution
· Review and submit bi-weekly payroll and monthly commissions
· Manage appropriate files and record keeping
· Assist with the preparation of performance reviews
· Assist with the implementation of personnel policies and procedures
· Handle employment relations counseling when needed
· Assertiveness and professionalism
· Must have good listening skills with the ability to understand, counsel and advise
· Ability to build effective, healthy and professional working relationships
· Time management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision
· Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to solve problems, have good judgement and excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Detail oriented and flexible
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel
· Previous payroll experience preferred, but not required
· PHR or SHRM certified preferred, but not required

· Starting pay will be based on experience and qualifications
