DESCRIPTION:

This position is multi-faceted with responsibilities with data analytics, grants and research management. The Grants Manager will manage and perform key administrative functions in the documentation and control process for the administration of multiple grants, from pre-planning to solicitation/application to grant award and close-out under the supervision of the Director of Finance on management of funds. The Grants Manager will work directly with the Grant Writer on grant tracking for Community, Medical, Behavioral Health, and Dental grants.
Hours: 4/10- Four Days/Week 10/hrs per day.
Location: G Street, San Bernardino, CA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DELIVERABLES:

Prepare and track all documentation pertaining to grant administration.
Generate financial reports to track actual versus budget expenditures.
Prepare, organize, and provide administrative support to technical evaluation committees.
Develop a Grants Management Plan that outlines the complete grants process.
Draft memoranda of negotiation, undertake cost reasonableness reviews and analysis, and prepare grant award agreements for approval and signature, ensuring compliance with the funder.
Responsible to ensure grant funds are expended in a timely manner before grant expiration.
Responsible for Grant budget preparation, tracking staffing equipment and grant allowed expenses and ensuring that grant funds are being applied according to the grant requirements.
Conduct Federal reporting and other submissions.
Assist with the implementation phase of new grants and ongoing metrics to ensure compliance.
Responsible for ensuring accurate reporting and other submissions.
Responsible for monitoring, tracking, reviewing, grant spend down and report milestone verifications.
Conduct evidence-based data research and analysis across multiple aspects of the healthcare environment.
Ensure that milestones are met in accordance with grants, program codes are properly identified and coded. Ensure that SAC Health’s mission remains the focus of all projects requested.
Other duties as assigned by the Director or CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, statistics, or public/business administration required. Master’s degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Valid CA Driver’s license.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in or grants management experience required. Extensive experience in direct patient care and administration of Federally Qualified Health Centers preferred. Experience with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Regulations pertaining to grants under contract, subcontracts, and procurement, preferred. Experience managing multiple grants. Familiar with grants application process. HRSA, SAMHSA, IEHP, and other county, state or federal grants. Strong familiarity with grant specifics and reporting requirements.
Essential Technical/Motor Skills: The ability to use a computer on a routine basis and complete training on required information management systems as well as other programs needed to fulfill duties, required documentation; strong communication skills, both orally and in writing. Requires strong project management experience and managing competing deadlines.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visas.
