Job Description Summary Responsible for material planning and inventory metrics across Aero Alliance business segment. Monitor the results of changes to the inventory plan/forecast and S&OP modifications. Plan for prevention of excess inventory and “stock outs” Work with all levels of the organization in resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usage. Work with Channels and AA vendors to identify new opportunities to improve our current OTD.

Roles and Responsibilities

Be the main conduit and information flow between shop operations and vendors, helping to drive a S&OP close loop in confirming vendor capacity, capability to deliver
Responsible for material supply and allocation across operations, ASP and channels, to meet all priorities and material requirements.
Inventory planning and management to achieve optimized inventory, will ability to serve.
Lead the materials management team providing clear objectives and priorities to meet the business needs and align to the total business priorities, with clear KPIs in place to monitor performance and drive decisions for improvements.
Ensure Materials management skillset, training and personal development for the materials management team are in place, defined, developed and implemented.
Interact with other members of the business management team to identify opportunities for improvement across processes, tools and drive a continues improvement culture.
Responsible for all fulfillment activities within the supply chain, from order placement to delivery management, inventory management and control to warehouse and logistics.
Drive functional improvement projects to improve material availability, reduce lead times and improve TAT, with a goal to deliver the right part at the right time, to the right place, at the right cost.

Required Qualifications

This role requires at least 10 years in Supply chain management, materials management.
Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of experience in Supply chain/Materials management Function(s)

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
