We have been servicing the residential, auto, and industrial locks and security hardware of Killeen, Texas and adjacent areas for slightly over half a decade and we are continuously trying to find hard working technicians and locksmiths to join our Killeen, TX office

(Full Time Position) in Killeen, TX

Description
Full service locksmiths are accountable for scheduled and emergency projects in Killeen, TX and surrounding areas regarding fixing, installing, and re-keying office locks and security apparatuses, vehicle locks, and household locks. You’ll also answer requests for duplication of keys, various lockout situations, laser key cutting, and transponder key programming. Remember that since this is a full-time position, you’ll be required to be on call for several hours.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
Besides the skill sets already mentioned, you’ll need to be informed and proficient in:

using a key cutting machine to cut new keys
unlocking doors to cars/homes
putting in and fixing high-tech locks such as keyless entry systems, biometric locks, and electronic deadbolts
lock change
rekeying commercial, auto, and residential locks
taking apart a lock and putting it back together
industrial, automotive, and residential locksmithing work
installing commercial security apparatuses which include exit devices and CCTVs utilizing the necessary tools
repairing and/or replacing car ignition switches

Working Conditions

being on-call 24 hours a day, 6 days a week to travel in and around the Killeen, TX vicinity

Qualifications
If you’re certain that you’ll be able to complete all of the responsibilities mentioned previously, make sure you have the following skills too before sending an application:

outstanding interpersonal skills (meaning you are considerate and respectful)
high school graduate or GED certification
5+ years of locksmith experience (preferred)
holder of a valid Texas driver’s license with a completely clean driving record
valid status in the US (citizen, permanent resident, or work visa holder)
reliable car or van to work out of

Compensation
Remuneration is commission based, determined by experience and salesmanship.
