Job Description :
We are looking for a pleasant Front Office Receptionist to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.The ideal candidate should be detail oriented and able to input data without mistakes.
Coastal Hydraulics has an immediate need for a full-time receptionist that will perform book keeping duties using Quickbooks, manage AP/AR, manage bills to be paid, manage ordering of office supplies, call vendors for price and availability on components, update customer on job status, answer incoming calls, greet visitors, direct callers/visitors to others, take and distribute messages.
Essential Functions

Enter customer information into Quickbooks
Gather all customer information when dropping components off
Accept customer payments
Pleasantly answers all incoming phone calls, greets visitors and delivery people, and directs inquiries to the proper party.
Exhibit professional appearance and behavior to callers and visitors.
Manage Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Manage vendor invoices and pay bills as necessary
Maintains office physical appearance (Cleaning, taking trash out, sweeping, mopping, etc.)
Receive, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
Responsible for inventory of office supplies.
Assists in ordering, receiving and distributing of office supplies.
Call vendors for price and lead time on components.
Stay up to date on tracking numbers for components and expected delivery dates
Update customer on job status

Must be able to call customers and vendors to gain information.
Must understand we are dealing with proprietary and confidential components.

This is a full-time position. Our hours are Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM. This position is eligible for benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401K, and paid vacation after probationary period.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
