Job Description
As the Freelance Digital Asset Specialist, you will work closely with the DAM Team, Art, Print and Production, Creatives, Client Partnership Group, Client and Agency Partners on assets generation, asset and metadata information management, organization & distribution.
Roles and Responsibilities include:

Responsible for supporting production by creating asset records via FileMaker Pro program, called SPARK, administering metadata, product information, usage rights, assigning shot numbers and linking existing assets to various jobs.
Collects original art assets, organizes and tags with metadata in the Saatchi’s DAM system
Works with Art Producers, Business Affairs and Client Partnership Group (CPG) team to ensure accurate usage rights
Provides file naming conventions and photo shoot folder organization guidelines to Production vendors
Gathers, ingests, as well as distributes digital assets from/to various Production Teams and Vendors
Ensures quality control of all Final Art and Ad deliverables for Saatchi DAM by working closely with Digital, Art & Print Production and their Vendors
Provides support to client, agency partners, and Saatchi DAM users by fulfilling asset requests and assists and guides on searches if necessary
Collaborates and assists with asset management for Client’s Digital Asset Management platform, by gathering and preparing assets from production, and working closely with the CPG team by QC-ing metadata sheets, in order to upload and administer assets on Toyota’s DAM system
Responsible for uploading and tagging assets, with associated metadata to Toyota’s DAM, as well as managing the AdPlanner assets, and assisting with other related requests
Responsible for evaluating projects’ workload by estimating the timing of the uploads, meeting the deadlines, and communicating schedules
Catalogs and file hard drives, including high security hard drives
Works closely with the DAM team to find ways to improve production workflows and to ensure DAM policies and procedures are current with industry best practices

Candidate experience should include:

Thorough knowledge of production with 2+ years experience in a fast-paced creative environment or agency setting, working in digital asset management (DAM)
Excellent organization and time management; able to prioritize large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlines
Google Docs, Microsoft Office – EXPERT proficiency with Excel (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite, familiar with FileMaker Pro and all types of file formats, including video formats. Mac proficiency, high level of technological literacy, and understanding of DAM operation
Attention to detail, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use good judgment when making decisions, performing tasks, collaborating with teams, and interacting with vendors and clients
Result oriented problem solver with ability to maintain positive, respectful, and professional relationships with supervisors, team, other departments, clients and vendors, while collaborating on projects
Able to communicate clearly and with integrity when dealing with stressful situations, and maintaining a grounded attitude in order to focus on the completion of the project
Working knowledge and understanding the language of usage rights
Able to work extended hours, including weekends, as necessary
