For over 70 years, Austin Child Guidance Center (ACGC) has been a leader in the provision of evidence-based treatment for children and their families in Greater Austin. Now serving all Central Texas, ACGC employs a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to offer three programs: Care & Treatment: individual, family, and group therapy; psychiatric services; psychological assessment; and Walk-In Clinic. Professional Development & Training: internal and external training of next generation mental health providers and corporate and nonprofit training and consultation. Community Education: caregiver workshops; panel discussions; resource guides; and bi-weekly podcast.  ACGC is committed to providing accessible, high-quality mental health services to children and families in Central Texas.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Bilingual Family Resource Navigator (Case Manager)
Direct Supervisor’s Title: Intake & FRN Supervisor
Position(s) Supervised: None
Salary: $55,000-$60,000 per year and a $3,000 annual bilingual stipend
Role Summary: The Bilingual Family Resource Navigator provides case management and also assists with the intake process for clients seeking services at Austin Child Guidance Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
· LBSW or LMSW (IPR) or LCSW, preferred
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
· Minimum 5 years’ experience providing client services in a similar setting preferred
· Working knowledge of local and state resources for families
· Bilingual Spanish/English required
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Receive and document incoming requests for service
· Assist Intake Coordinator with collection of all required intake paperwork and facilitate Intake Management Sessions/orientations for first time clients, as needed
· Schedule clients with appropriate therapist
· Assist with Walk-In Clinic by screening clients and assist with intake process
· Conduct assessment of client needs and develops service plans for case management, as needed or requested
· Provide families with services and referrals and may assist them in pursuing these options
· Monitor progress of families with services and follow-up, by conducting monthly check-ins
· Conduct bi-weekly check-ins with therapist for any client FRN needs
· Document and complete client appointment notes per Policies and Procedures.
· Coordinate outreach efforts with Outreach Specialist to collaborate with community agencies and referral sources, based on client need
· Regularly updates referral sources for clients at the agency
· Work collaboratively and cooperatively with agency personnel and other constituents
· Coordinate internal translating requests and schedule interpreters with external agencies
· Organize and track data related to grant reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually)
· Attend and participate during weekly individual supervision
· Attend all required agency meetings, including all-staff meetings and interdisciplinary case staffing
· Further the mission of ACGC through active support of the strategic goals
· At discretion of supervisor, may assume responsibilities for other duties
