Job Description :

Responsibilities

Perform inventory accounting functions including research and reconciliation of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts including: inventory, shortage, costs and sales.
Review and enter inventory trends, costs and profits to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Collaborates with internal departments and external vendors daily regarding inventory and gross profit questions, making corrections as needed.
Perform first-level quality assurance review of research and documentation performed by non-exempt staff to explain transactions that fall outside normal parameters.
Provide escalation and back-up support. Participate in special projects as directed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or information systems
Experience with SQL (is a plus)
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
