Intellisense Systems, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager with hands-on end-to-end electronic design, assembly, integration, and testing to join our Emerging Technologies team. This is a hands-on technical position as a key contributor to a growing team.
As a technical leader, you are responsible for developing, selecting, designing, and testing electronics systems for new and ongoing projects, including presenting design trades during internal and customer-facing design reviews. Intellisense prides itself on being a collaborative team environment, so your skills as a team player and effective communicator will be critical to the role and achieving success.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, manage and provide technical leadership to the engineering team including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, whose primary responsibility is to develop and transition new technologies out of R&D and into production to enhance our military and aerospace product line.
Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Deriving, developing, and documenting detailed electronics design, prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting to meet system specifications and user/customer requirements.
Generate electrical/electronic proposal estimates for design, integration and checkout, installation, and test.
Prepare documentation to meet internal and contract requirements, including reports that meet Intellisense standards.
Generate and describe innovative ideas for new/potential products
Strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by preparing documentation, technical reports, and presentations at meetings.
Interface effectively with people at all levels from diverse backgrounds.
Conduct and lead meetings with our customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

What You’ll Bring:
Required:
8+ years of hardware design experience.
Demonstrated expertise in analog and high-speed digital custom design.
Demonstrated experience (or just deep understanding) on imaging sensors (interfaces, configuration and image acquisition, including smart cameras) .
Expertise with PCB design, component layout, and TX/RX Embedded architectures.
Experience and capability in generating detailed system/subsystem requirements, test procedures, and analyzing test outputs.
Familiarity with ECAD tools for schematics and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD), FPGA tools (e.g., Xilinx ISE, Altium Quartus), Simulation and analytical tools
Communicates effectively both orally and in written form, with both internal and external customers (and suppliers).
Effective problem-solving and organizational skills, self-motivation and detail-oriented, exhibiting relentless dedication to accuracy and responsiveness.
Leads and positively motivates others and is flexible enough to maintain productivity and enthusiasm in a fast-evolving team-oriented environment
US Citizenship required
Preferred:
MS EE, Applied Physics, or similar area
