Helping Hand Home employs over 90 full-time and part-time staff to work with the 41 children in residence. Positions range from Therapeutic Childcare Specialist and professional clinical staff to administrative and support staff. We are looking for a caring individual to join our team! In this job, you will be providing support to the Development Department.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Research, identify and coordinate all corporate gifts, third party events and in-kind gifts and giving strategies around each.
Provide critical support and coordination for annual Champions for Children Awards Luncheon.
Provide direct support and coordination of HHH third party and corporate events including: Amplify Austin, Jersey Mikes, all holiday events and all third party events.
Coordinate with corporate groups for HHH speaking opportunities, tours and employee engagement opportunities.
Provide year-round stewardship and cultivation to all corporate, third party and in kind donor groups.
Coordinate and maintain daily interactions with in-kind donors, which includes on-site questions, telephone calls, email inquiries, all in-person donation drop offs and tours.
Serves as lead point of contact to coordinate all holiday giving.
Work directly with the Development Director and Director of Major Gifts to arrange and lead tours and meetings with donors and prospective donors.
Work directly with Development Director and Director of Major Gifts on solicitation and stewardship of various individual and major donors to HHH.
Work with Volunteer & Enrichment Manager to engage donor groups at HHH to provide tours and employee engagement opportunities.
In order to achieve departmental goals, assume other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

College degree is required.
One or more years of development, fundraising or client relations experience is required.
Event planning experience preferred.
Intermediate skill level with Excel and Word.
Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of people both internally and externally.
Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
