The purpose of this position is to design innovative commercially viable products that deliver value and style for the assigned consumer segment and distribution channel. This role must support development, evolution and communication of a brand look that supports and deepens the brand value and identity.

About the Job

Contribute, design, and develop seasonal graphic platforms and concepts
Identify consumer relevant product opportunities through market research
Create and research print techniques, placements and logo ideas which will inspires new product opportunities
Sustain effective partnerships with Merchandising, Product Development and Sourcing to ensure products are engineered to profit and quality/aesthetic goals
Execute direction given by senior designers and directors as part of the global guidelines
May coach junior designers

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, illustration, printed textile or other relevant design field.
3+ years of experience as a graphic apparel designer
Demonstrated success in creating commercially viable and profitable graphic designs
Strong working knowledge of techniques and processes
Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities
Computer literacy/fluency with design related applications
Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills; especially when it comes to working directly with senior level directors
Impeccable communication skills across all channels
Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly
Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS & Co.
