The challenge

This position is part of Royalty Operations and Data Management team and is a role that is responsible for creating and managing the material master records in SAP. The Material Master Specialist is responsible for the governance of the SKU data to ensure order transactions, financial analytics, and SOX controls are accurate and certified. This person will process a variety of material master requests daily to support product launches, project go-lives, and ad-hoc business requests.

What you’ll do

Collect and manage implementation of system and mapping requirements for new Material Master attributes
Maintain and provide reporting and mapping documentation to business partners
Process Material Master requests in a timely manner
Perform audits to ensure data integrity of all processed requests
Support all UAT efforts related to Material Master record product launches, projects, and programs
Manage SOX control evidence related to Performance Obligation (POB) and new Product Configurations
Working independently on defined set of daily tasks with little need for direction or supervision
Ability to take on multiple projects simultaneously
Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Pricing Operations, Revenue Accounting Operations, and IT
Should be comfortable working in the Microsoft Windows environment as well as an ERP system such as SAP
What you need to succeed

BA/BS and/or 5+ years operational experience preferred
Expert in MS Excel
Analytical problem solver
Great attention to detail
Proven flexibility in dynamic environments and ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
