Job Description :
Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. This is a hybrid onsite/remote position.

Your responsibilities in this role

Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary for accuracy
Help other departments reach their goals by providing analysis
Analyze data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
Review data to identify changes in financial and business trends
Develop business reports that provide insight into key data points
Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department
Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
Accurately examine and gather data for various types of business reports
Skilled in time management and prioritization to meet project deadlines
Superb critical thinking skills to make decisions and solve business problems
1 to 3 years of experience as a financial or business analyst
Strong analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
Ability to use data tools to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
Familiarity with object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
Familiarity with business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
Skilled in written and verbal communication to effectively relate data to coworkers
Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
