We offer a full-time Core System Product Manager (onsite/hybrid/fully remote) position, where you will the the extension of our institution with a voice directly to the Core Provider. You will take a proactive approach to our relationship and interfaces with staff throughout the organization to drive operational and business priorities. You should be committed to the our strategic and operational needs and aligning the Core System in a way that is optimal for the institution. Below you’ll see some of your responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for the Bank’s platform, currently FISERV Precision. Monitor, support and maintain Fiserv, Ancillary Fiserv and relevant apps, modules, and teller systems for both the Bank’s employees and FISERV.
Act as Bank lead for all necessary escalations.
Assist in the resolution of issues and work with vendor to perform and test all product releases, software enhancements, new modules and other upgrades to maximize use. Coordinate the implementation of new systems and upgrades with external and internal stakeholders.
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the core system as it relates to the platform, specifications, integrated teller and payment systems to get the most out of these programs for efficiencies and information.
Manage and maintain the core systems user security and permissions. Assist with reporting and remediation for audits and internal reviews.
Work with applicable departments to identify system modifications and enhancements, and assist in proposing and managing new product development, meeting timelines, budget and high-quality standard requirements.
Provide documentation and reports for external auditors and examiners.
Schedule general maintenance projects; coordinate such schedules with other departments and outside vendors as necessary.
Train all employees, including new hires, on the use of the core system, Director, and ancillary applications; maintain user documentation.
May participate in the Bank’s IT Committee and other committees as necessary. Interacts with Senior Management to meet corporate objectives.
Assist in developing efficient policies, procedures, and best practices to manage the Bank’s core processes. Primary person responsible to communicate any policy or procedural changes to the applicable departments. Will update required procedures for department manager review.
Participate in core user groups.
Maintain up to date knowledge and may train others on products, services, departmental systems, and related technology, policies and procedures.
Bring any suspicious activity to the attention of a supervisor, or the Chief Risk Officer.
Follow all Bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.
Understand and adhere to regulatory guidelines including but not limited to FCRA, BSA, GLBA, etc. as the regulations pertain to the employee’s job function
May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledges and Skills
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) preferred or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Bank Core System Administration; Fiserv Precision experience preferred.
IT certifications (A+, Network+, CCNA, or similar) preferred.
Ability to work independently with limited direction from supervisor.
Excellent written and communication skills, including ability to deal professionally with challenges and questions.
Capability of working well independently and as part of a team and exercising appropriate level of authority commensurate with experience and responsibility.
Ability to work successfully in a deadline driven environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; good organizational, research and follow-up skills.
Requires the ability to employ basic reasoning skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook. Excellent in Excel.
