Your Job Purpose:
As a Commissioning Manager working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in a state-of-the-art, global facility in Sherman, Texas.
The Commissioning Manager role will be focused on providing commissioning services on a variety of systems to verify compliance with project and engineering specifications. The Commissioning Manager will work as part of a team to develop, manage, and coordinate project specific commissioning plans which will include reviewing and verifying system installation, functional performance, and control system operations. The candidate will focus on innovation for design, system enhancement and system maintainability to impact company efforts for building performance, health, sustainability, and energy consumption reduction.
Your Job Responsibilities:
Development of the project specific commissioning plan.
Development and management of the days to day activities of the commissioning team.
Support LEED enhanced commissioning deliverables and documentation.
Chair owners’ representative meetings.
Prepare weekly KPIs on project on the commissioning activities.
Chair daily commissioning meetings with CMs and trade partners.
Management of the project issues log.
Development of the commissioning software platform and site-specific startup matrix.
Sequence activities in the commissioning schedule to meet the project critical path.
Development and management of commissioning KPIs.
Management the coordination of QAQC inspections with 1/3 party QAR to meet critical path.
Report KPIs for QAQC.
Manage corrective action where issues are prevalent.
Participate in project safety management & initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Facilities management or related equivalent.
Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or BCxP certified as distinct advantage or related equivalent.
At least 5 years’ experience in a senior commissioning position on large scale projects, preferably semiconductor.
Knowledge & experience of safety walks, safety meetings & programs.
Knowledge and project experience of HVAC systems including heating water, heat recovery water, chilled water supporting critical cleanroom environmental parameters.
Knowledge & experience of process mechanical systems to support industrial applications.
Knowledge & experience of instrumentation & controls in industrial applications.
Knowledge & experience of electrical power generation & distribution for large facilities.
Knowledge & experience of test script development and safe startup & energization checklists.
Scheduling of commissioning activities on large scale projects.
Management of commissioning teams > 10 staff a distinct advantage.
OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 a distinct advantage.
