Job Description :
Job Summary Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for an excellent career in Mammoth Lakes? Please consider joining our team as we work to establish a preschool for the children of Mammoth Hospital employees. This teacher will be a part of the set up of our school and will have an opportunity to influence the curriculum and our teaching philosophy.

The Aide/Assistant will assist in the care, development, and instruction of children in the Preschool program under the supervision of an Associate teacher or higher. They will ensure students and teachers have materials that they need throughout the day. The Aide will also be responsible for helping to prepare the morning snack as well as helping with lunches. The Aide will work with one of the teaching staff to help get students down for rest time. The Aide will be available to help with any issues that relate to the students throughout the day, they will constantly be working with at least one other staff member, they are to never be left alone with students.
What You’ll Do:

Assist Associate teacher with snack prep.
Organize all classroom centers.
Keep a clean, safe environment.
Attend training to continue with professional development.
Bleach soiled toys at the end of every school day.
Assist any student with a special condition.
Help with students during circle time, small group time, and large group time.

What You’ll Need:

High school diploma or GED required.
Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR preferred (willing to obtain immediately after hire).
6 ECE Units preferred (willing to obtain immediately after hire).
Aide Permit through CTC preferred.
One year experience in a preschool classroom preferred. Knowledge of children ages two to five years.
COVID Vaccination requirement.

Job Information:

Full-time positions available, day shifts.
Starting wage $19.33 to $20.70 based on qualifications.
