Job Description :
Buyer 1 – Round Rock, TX
Valex Corp is looking for a Buyer to join its team in Round Rock, Texas. In this position, you will create purchase orders based on MRP demand using our QAD ERP system, and you will maintain supplier delivery date accuracy in the ERP system. You will also identify and negotiate opportunities for improved cost, quality, and delivery from suppliers, and you will evaluate supplier cost and delivery performance quarterly.
Requirements

3+ years’ purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment,
two years’ experience using an ERP system,
excellent written and verbal communication skills
at least a high school diploma or equivalency.

Compensation will depend on experience.
